Prestigious Chinese International Scholarship Awarded to Rhodes Student

PhD Student Danny Zhao received a Peoples' Republic of China International Scholarship.  This was the only one of these prestigious awards to be made to a student studying in Africa.  He received the scholarship from the Chinese Ambassador to South Africa at a special ceremony held at the University of Pretoria on 15 April 2005.
